Synopsis: This multiplatform documentary—television and internet—that recounts the experiences of fifty young Catalans between the ages of 18 and 35 who speak in the frankest terms about how the current economic crisis has affected them. The work is based solely on their personal accounts that together weave a story showing how this generation’s hopes and expectations have gone up in smoke. In the words of Míriam Sanjosé, one of the interviewees, “You had a life plan set out: study, work, live on your own, get a mortgage...and now all of that has changed.” Another participant, Xavi Quesada, adds “It’s not that we’ve lived beyond our means. It’s that the promised possibilities just weren’t there.”
